On BCM 50 with contact center. Is it possible to make phone "busy" while on a call. Example: agent is on a call, and knows the wrap time will need to be extended or needs to take a break and wants to go not ready(F908) before ending the first call. Now when F908 is press the display shows set busy.
 
Only thing that comes to mind would be to get them to press another intercom key as they are ending their call. Once the CC call has been disconnected they should be able to F908.
 
Make the Make busy time in the SS 10-15 seconds then after call they can maunaly press the make busy key before the 10 sec .
 
Thanks. To clarify I have the make busy in ss set to 30 sec. When the agent is done with the call and wants to "make not ready" during this 30 second wrap up time, when you press the button it makes the phone ready and imediatly starts to ring if a call is qued, then they press it again to go not ready. The caller hears ringing then is sent back into the que.

Is the intercom option the way people handle this? Seems a bit sloppy.
