BCM 50 and IP Phone Question

I have a customer that has BCM 50s at 3 locations. They send out a new phone after configuring the phone before it leaves the HQ office. They connect it up at the location and during the boot the phone is asking for a ID and Password. The Customer is saying this is coming from the BCM But I am unable to find anything on the BCM that requires a 4 digit ID and 5 digit password. Can anyone help point me in the right direction as to where this is coming from?

Global registration is turned off. It is asking for your admin username and password (nnadmin and password). You can enable Global registration and set a password so you dont have to setup an account for phone registrations
