BCM 50 and DSM32+

Has anyone had a problem installing a DSM32+ on a BCM50? I have a customer who is installing one, and can't get it going. They are pluged into the right ports on the main unit, have the exp port keycode installed. Plus all the dip switches are in the on postion. Any pointers or clues would be appreciated.

Even though the expansion keycode is enabled, you still have to define what the Expansion module is. On configuration tab, Click on resources > telephony resources > click on expansion 1 > then press space bar to get drop down menu and choose DSM32+ > tab over and you will then see beneath the DSM32+ expansion 1.1 and 1.2 > you will then need to enable both those modules.

do what gecko told adn then connect atleast 1 phone - this changes the status from enabling to enabled

Thanks. I let the customer know. He told me he hasn't hook up a phone yet. Thanks for the responses. I bet that's all it was. I know soon.
