Are there any other phones compatible with the BCM servers?
Astra and Polycom make IP phones and I was wondering if those phoone are compativle with Nortel BCM?

no they aren't. only nortel ip-phones are supported because nortel is using their own proprietary protocol called UNIStim.

On a 200 or 400, you could use a generic H.323 terminal, similar to the "old" Symbol wireless IP phones that were around a couple years ago.

If the phone is strictly an H.323 set, it should register. No such luck on a BCM 50 though.

You won't get all the nice "features" that you would get on a Nortel branded phone though.
