BCM 50 - adding additional DN's

I dont really know what im doing but i want to add an additional DN to our BCM50 - all dns are used up now!!

I have added a pair of wires in sequence to our switch with a krone tool - but it has not appeared as active on the business elements manager!!

Does any one have a suggestion - do the wires have to be a certain way round/ colour etc

I would really appreciate any help

If all dn's are used up now, how are you going to add another 1?
If you are connecting to a port on the bcm (starting from the right on the main cabinet) and not getting a time and date on the display, don't be cheap and give your phone tech a call
You probably need a keycode.

p.s. there is no concern about polarity on digital phones.

I would take a look at your keycode as suggested above. Are you licenced for another phone?. Were you trying to add another digital DN, but was using one of the four analogue extension ports that still need keycodes to activate them?.

Which port are you trying to connect with?.
