How many simutaneous conference calls can a user do at one time? 3 or the amount of free channels/lines they have?

With a BCM50 2.0 or 3.0 or a BCM400 or 200 4.0, it is a maximum of 18. Of course the number of external participants is limited to free channel or line availability. That would be for ad-hoc conferences. Conference bridge participants are limited by the number of licenses you have installed.

so whats the difference between bcm conferencing with 18 participants and using meet me conferencing bridge.

do you need a licence for each person in the conference when using meet me conferencing

MMC you need a licence for each so called port. 10 ports = 10 people.
