I am not the one experiencing the problem but, my friend has loaded a patch to "enable" or "fix" for the customer to recieve voicemails onto their PDA phones. Essentially, getting vmails in outlook. When he loads the patch and makes a test call to the customer, the Auto Atndt answers with a default greeting and not the one recorded by them. When he backs out the patch the correct grtg plays. He then loads the patch and back to the problem again. He says he has tried the new patch available because I told him to redownload it, that maybe it got corrupted in the download.
Sorry for the lack of details....

Any one experienced this or have any ideas?

What's the patch number? Any of the one's I have downloaded to my PC from Nortel are not removeable.

As with all patches, you have to make sure that any dependencies have been met. Best way is to always load up the latest service update first.

The dependencies have all been met.
He had a backup of the system and would default the programming and start from scratch for the testing purposes.(thats what I meant by backing out the patch). He found out that the carrier is sending a * after the caller id info. :/ So after the patch was loaded, the BCM started to recognize the * when before it would ignor it.
