I have a customer with a BCM 50 3.0 and expansion running analog lines.They also have 4 -VoIP trunks to corporate. I guess the system re-boots every so often. I didnt see much in alarms with the exception a startup every so often. I changed power pack on main unit only as customer replace new BBU as well...latest patch was in 09'. Could this be a harddrive issue? Could busy VoIP trunks cause re-boot?Is it even worth trying to find A 3-6 upgrade? Any help is greatly appreciated!!Thanks!

Have you checked that the BCM isn't scheduled to do a reboot?. I'd personally patch it all up to date, but get a few backups first.

Thanks Firebird... I didn't change expansion power pack but doubt that is causing re-boot. They're saying no certain time/day when system goes down/up. I'd rather toss in new 6.0 and migrate Keycodes over if possible. Would a bad 4x16 MBM cause this?

Some of the older releases clear the Alarm log if I recall so the upgrade might help in that way.

Patching would would be the first thing to do.

What is a BBU?
Are the fans running ok? not over heating?
Dial in daily and check Monitor and Alarms before it reboots maybe.
