I'm replacing a failed unit with another unit I had on the shelf. I'm trying to create mailboxes, however, when I click submit, it looks as though it takes, yet the mailboxes aren't created. I was able to create 1 box. I'm using extensions 201-208. Mailbox 202 was able to be created. Any ideas?

My guess is that your replacement BCM keycodes had only a few voice messaging licenses available and any new mailbox's will probably only be information ones.

Are you able to put the hard disk into the original BCM unit and use the keycodes that had existed or can you compare the keycodes from both BCM units.

If you need assistance, then feel free to contact one of us.

I'm showing I have 25 available subscriber mailboxes to use.

Also, if I try to add say 221,222, etc. it works without issue. Something is blocking 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, and 208. The question is, what?

I'm puzzled why some mailbox's are able to be added in. What is the start DN range on the BCM as 221 is often left as the default start number.

It might be that some of the DN's are reserved or that the DN is linked to another mailbox, preventing you from assigned it's own mailbox.

You might need to look in all the mailbox's for any extension DN's.

The voicemail was defaulted. I have no other mailboxes created other than the 1 I was able to create and the system administrator and general delivery mailboxes.

Take a look in Sets under all DN's to see what number ranges have been used. It seems odd that you can't assign a mailbox against a valid DN when you have spare mailbox licenses.

There is an issue with MB's in the range of 201-220 as these numbers are reserved. There is a setting to change, but for the life of me I can't remember where it is. I don't have CP I can look at right now.

1. What process did you use to default CP?
2. Was the Startup DN's set to 200 or 221 at install?
Example - was it set to 221 but then some DN's that were above the starting DN of 221 where then changed to 200, 201 etc?

Check Active Application DN's to see if they are used in there.

I thought about prefixes earlier but my BCM50 starts at 200 and my prefixes are at default.
I thought maybe it was only if you had DN's in the 100 series you had to change those prefixes.
