BCM 450 Voice mail stopped working

I have a BCm 450 with a PRI. Power went out a few weeks ago for 4-6 hours. Came back on , no voice mail working. Cannot access Voice mail Dn thru f 985- unavailable.
I heard it may be the Backplane board.
If I change it out will I need loose anything else. Sets, Keycodes ect?
Do I have to re do all voice mail setup or will it Grab all from memory?
Anybody have any issues and know of anything about the loss of VM and What to do to get it back and any setup , there after?
 
This can be caused by a few different things.

The power unit may be at fault. Sometimes the unit does not receive enough power to power up the hard drive..

The hard drive may be faulty.

 
I have noticed that all lights in front of BCm are green. If it was power or harddrive , would they not be yellow or orange?
 
Any of these 3 in order of lease expensive to replace

Power Supply
Hard Drive
BFT (Base Function Tray)

I dont think there is an alarm for detection of a failing device.
If you rebooted and phone system side works then I would guess the PS or BFT as the phone side needs the hard drive only to boot up, not operate...where vmail needs the hard drive all the time.

As for programming there is a backup and restore feature, if you made a backup then do a restore.
As for key codes they are on the MSC card but again you should be keeping the keycodes on paper or email given too you so you can reload if need.

Perhaps you should call a tech out.

Can you log-in to element manager? Is the hard drive spinning at all? It is most likely the HD or PS like previously mentioned. Might not hurt to buy both. Can purchase both on eBay (from dealers) for a few hundred bucks total. And if it's not one of them, it never hurts to have it as a spare.
 

Try a reinstall of the callpilot software

Enter Feature Code 982
Display=Pswd
Password=OPERATOR (xxxxxxx)
Display=Choose Option, OPER or MODE
Select OPER
Display=Atdt Avail:N, CHNG or NEXT
Enter 1 (Digit 1 on telephone-pad)
Display=Pswd
Password=REINSTALL (yyyyyyyyyy)
Display=Reset Database ?, YES or NO
Select YES.

This will reinstall the call pilot voicemail.

You will loose all mailboxes and AA.

If you have a back up you can restore it.
