Hi all. I am needing to setup access to my BCM through my firewall. Can anyone tell me which TCP and/or UDP ports I need to allow so I can communicate with my BCM via the BCM software?

I have looked through various BCM 450 guides and can't seem to find that particular information. I am sure I am just over looking it.

Thanks in advance.

This is something that I did a few years ago. I hope it's still up to date?.

BCM Port Information

Port 6800 is used to enable you to access unified manager via Internet explorer.

Also Ports 1718 UDP H.323, 1719 UDP H.323 and 1720 TCP H.323 - Call Signalling.

Direction >> Channel Source Ports Destination Ports COS

i20xx to BCM Signalling 5000 7000 0xA0

i20xx to BCM Media 51000-51200 28000-28511 0xB8

i20xx to i20xx Signalling 5000 7000 0xa0
(between BCM G/W)

i20xx to i20xx Media 51000-51200 51000-51200 0xB8

Note!
The H323 & SIP IP Trunks can cause confusion if the MAX setting = 60
H323 defaults are usually 001 to 030 & SIP defaults are 031 to 060.

To get the Name display working, make sure that you have keycodes for the
"MCDN" package & the sites Business Name is entered under "General Settings"
You can only enter up to 8 characters.

All the best

You need 3 TCP ports mapped to the BCM-443 (for CallPilot) 5989 (for Element Manager) and 60001 (for BCM Monitor).
