BCM 450 Release 1

Got a customer that has a BCM 450 Release 1 that died, want to know if anybody had any success in replace the BCM 450 Release 1 with BCM450 Release 6, and use the current customer backup. They have a Backup from March 3 of this year.

You cannot back up one version and restore to another.
You would have to upgrade to each release which is just as tedious and expensive.
