Hi All;

I have a new 450 R6 (dti card, gatm4, and 32+).
All the keycodes are in and I can see that all the modules are enabled. I can see the pri lines are all there.

However, I cannot access the pri programming (thru EM or the set). The options are not avail to set-up (protocol, line coding, line framing, etc.)

I'm looking (thru the set)at hardware, main unit, mbms, mbm4= pri... but there's no other options!

Any suggestions? Thanks

First thing is to make sure you configure and assign your MBM modules first.
Leave all dip switches to default.
Power down system.
Insert MBMs in correct slots to match your bus assignment.EG
4 :DTM mbm
3 :Gatm 4
2 :spare for another extn card
1 :dsm 32 Mbm

Power up system.

The element manager version you are using is probably your issue.

Make sure you have download the Element Manager version 62. from the Application Launcher..This will be the Latest version.

You may have an old version which does not allow you to programme the system properly as it hangs when trying to access the Resource section.

Yeah, you'll encounter plenty of issues using the correct version so don't even try programming with an older version, LOL.

EM would not give me issues going thru the telset tho... right? I should still be able to program the pri in "hardware" thru the telset. Which I cannot.

Yes you are right. Try a different Slot in the BCM and program the slot for a DTI.

Actually, when I first put the dti card in i mistakenly put it into the bottom slot and tried to program it there. After having trouble programming it in that slot... and doing some "additional" reading here, I then put it in the top slot (hoping) it would work.

Make sure those dip switches are all on. The ones I've been receiving lately have had one set to off and it never would enable.

Follow-up;it WAS the element manager stopping me from seeing the dti options. I had to download it thru the IE browser and then I could see the programming I needed. A lot of wasted time because of EM... you learn something new every day... Thanks for all your responses.
