BCM 450 question

BCM450, R6. Suddenly, when random users attempt to login, they get a message on their display saying "mbox locked". I checked the COS, and they are all set to no expiry. I can't even find the ESPL anymore. Any other ideas?

Maybe there's a hacker. After 3 unsuccessful attempts the mailbox will be locked.

Reset the mailbox passwords.Tell users to not make them easy like 1234.

I reset the ones that were affected. One day it was 1, then 4, then 6.

Password Expiry is the setting in which the current password expires.
i.e. user must change password every 90 days if set to 90.
Setting it to 0 means the users passwords will never expire.

Max Incorrect Password Attempts
This is the one you might want to adjust.

Call me nuts but I like to keep it around 10.
The hacker will most likely give after trying the usual's like 1234, 1111, 221221 etc. and it wont lock up so early.
