BCM 450 migration

Has anyone done a migration from a 400? I am curious if the database can or can not be moved over. The Nortel bulletin says the system has to be reprogrammed from scratch, just wanted to see if anyone has done other wise.

It is a new system, hardware chassis ,hard drive.
you reuse your MBMs.
Thats why you programme from scratch

Have done 1 migration. Must reprogram from scratch. The 400 must also be upgraded to 4.0 before you can migrate the keycode. You must send back the 400 chassis or at least the MSC or you will be charged for the keycodes.
