I am just starting a new bcm 450. the last time I even touched a bcm was almost a year ago. I checked the website and see a few patches, do I install all of them or certain ones. a guy I know says do su system patch 2. I have no idea what he is talking about.

thanks for any help.

p.s. I just open the patch and it runs its own installer, correct?

thanks. Ill get the most recent by date desktop and system patches

Forgot 2nd question

littel more complicated.

You need to extract (unzip) the files to a USB, FTP or Network folder if BCM is on a network.

Then with Element Manager that connects and lets you program the BCM... you can schedule a time/day or force the patch to upload and install, you need to point to where the patch is.

alright. I did the R5 filter because im release 5,the emergency patch and a general patch. I downloaded that patch and unzipped it. in element manager, can you point me to where I go to point it to the patch please? thanks

From admin menu, go down to software updates, click on get updates, the reset is easy. After the software is downloaded the system will reboot. give it about 20 to 40 minutes for the whole thing. Be sure to make a back up copy first. Good luck!.
