BCM 450 BFT

Hello Everyone,

I have a general question regarding the BCM450. I have a customer that has an existing BCM 450 and it is working fine. We have the opportunity to purchase a used BCM450 from another source. If something happens to the working unit would we be able to transfer those licenses from that unit to the used BCM450.

Licenses are tied to the BFT (its system ID)

There are a number of options you can do, but I don't know if it's still possible to migrate keycodes across from one BCM 450 to another. It depends if the replacement unit ever had licensed keycodes on the Avaya KRS site.

There are other ways, but it's best to consult with some of us off line.
