BCM 450 5.0 RAID

Hello fellow techs! We bought a RAID license and drive for a customer and installed it in a Nortel BCM 450. The HDD-1 light is green, RAID light is red, and the HDD-2 light is amber. As you probably well know, this is the normal light pattern for a BCM with the RAID license activated, but disk mirroring disabled. I've looked through the technical documentation about installing the RAID kit and the next step should be to open the Element Manager Administration tab, open the System Metrics folder and click on Disk Mirroring. The problem is there is only two menus available under System Metrics, neither of which are Disk Mirroring. Why is this menu missing? How can I enable disk mirroring if that menu is not available? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i agree there was a patch out to fix this.

i always patch up first to the latest then apply the keycode

The Avaya website is WAY too ambiguous with the downloads available for the BCM 450. Is it BCM450 Release 5.0 cartridges library, Business Communications Manager - Patches and Smart Updates, BCM450 Release 5.0 Upgrade Software, BCM450 Release 5.0 Factory Image Patch, or none of the above?

You don't get patches from the avaya support site. You have to go to

https://espl.avaya.com/espl/

But you'll get nowhere if you don't have an Avaya login. If you do get in, just scroll all the way to the bottom and look at the 4th one up. It's for the Business Communications Manager. Select it and use the drop down boxes to select your system and release. It's pretty easy.
