We are replaceing a bcm 400 this week with a new 450. The existing site is running the BCM 400 on 2 static ip addressess. One address is the BCM and the other Lan 2 address is the IP sets. I do not know why the telco set this up this way. We would like the 450 to be the smae config so we do not need to reprogram the IP address on every set (if you can appreciate). Can any one shed some lite on this Lan2 option. It seems there are 2 ports on the 450 but one is shadowed out in programming and both have the same ip address assigned.???

That's the way it works. That other RJ45 connector is not a separate network connection. It's basically just a little 2 port switch and you can only assign 1 IP address to it. Bummer!

You could try using the OAM port 10.10.11.1 see if you can change that.
