thank you sir. what i need to know is this just a password problem or somethin else. i do not know what the ip addres has been changed to that is why i cannot give proper full details i have given all that can. i am trying to return to factory settings this is not installed at customer site.
Well we still don't know what you are connecting with (both hardware and software), what port you are using on the BCM, what cable you are using, what IP address you are trying , what IP your laptop is (if using one), anything that you have tried etc etc.
I gave you a link to read, once you have done that then maybe you can connect with however you are connecting.
serial connection, 10.10.10.1 but the ip address has been changed. so i was going thru the console port to reset it so i could go in thru the element manager and default yesterday was a very busy day and i was answering in a hurry.
