I have a BCM 400 cannot find IP. 10.10.11.1 etc does not work. Console port info does not show ip. See info displaying, but cannot type through console port. Tried Element scan on several IP, no good. Help. Any ideas?

1. Are you using a crossover cable for a direct connection to your computer?

2. is your computer's IP in range of the BCM default IP?
eg. 10.10.11.3 for your computer.

I agree with Cook1082 Hyper terminal with serial port is a good option.
