hey everyone,

I have a bcm 400 been up and running strong for over a year. Love this system. We are currently looking to deploy off premise extensions via vpn. Just looking for a little insight. My question is what is the best way to connect to the bcm via the www.

My bcm is now behind my firewall on my lan and i feel safe. I have read post about putting bcm on a dmz but I dont dare. I would love to hear from someone that has this set up. Thanks much,

Phiter

Best way is to deploy a hardware based VPN at each site. I've done this with Contivity 1010 units at the remote sites, and either a 1010 or 600 at the host site depending on how many tunnels you'll need.

If you don't use the Contivity, and if you'll require remotes sites to be able to call remote sites, make sure the VPN routers you choose will be able to route from site to site.
