Has anyone used an ATA-2 with the BCM 400. Have you experienced any problems? Does the ATA operate the same as the ASM 0x8?

ATA's work fine on BCM. Does what it's told - turns a digital port into analog. The phone will work the same as if on an analog port off a ASM-8. The ASM-8+ will give you disconnect supervision and message waiting, which you won't get off an ATA.

The ASM-8+ operates just like 8 ATA2's on the system with taking up all the wall space.
