BCM 400 - What is the most powerfull account

Hi,

I have a account called "supervisor" on a BCM400, the company that looks after the PBX said this is the admin account, is that right? It looks like I can't do anything with this account.

It depends on the permissions given to the account, but by default it is a full administrator.

What can't you do that you need to do?

I will check again, but zou confirm that supervisor is the default admin account created by Nortel?

Thats all depends on what version of the BCM your using.

supervisor is 1 default admin account, not THE default admin account.

All accounts can be modified.

For the 3rd time, what is it you think you cannot do?

If supervisor has not had it's permissions changed, then it has full Admin rights.
