User complaining when listening to their messages remotely volume is to low.
anyone have any issues with this?

Any complaints about low volume when calling out from the system?

Check levels on the analog trunks - try changing the loss package on the trunks to Long CO.

If you can get the telco to listen to you, you can try to see if they'll boost the signal level on the trunks.

they are DID coppers
no option for Loss Package
only on their Loop outgoing lines I have that option

Ah. That would make a difference. I'm assuming it's a Norstar DID card with a FEM in the BCM, or did you get your hands on BCM 4.0 with one of the new analog DID cards?

No complaints about DID calls direct to phones?

If you have one of the outbound COT trunks routed to VM and they call it, do they notice a difference?

I'm still thinking it might be a signal level on the trunks, but I've only had one customer with analog DID on a BCM. If all else fails and you have a spare DID card handy, it might be worthwhile to swap it just for kicks.

 
Your correct 2- Norstar DID cards and I made an outbound COT answer in the CP and you can clearly hear the volume difference.

So yes it must be the DID card but I have 2 in the system and both cards same issue so what are the chances

or the lovely DID COT sig levels as you suggested

I'm thinking the latter ( not a big fan of DID COT's :)

I'm going to put a call into the CO .
