I have a BCM400 Rel 4.0. Is there a way to copy a voicemail message from an indidvidual voicemail box to a thumb drive or other, "NON BCM" device?

If you have unified messaging. This puts it in a folder in outlook then you can copy it as a wav file.

Thats what I thought. I had a consultant tell a customer of mine that all you had to do was put a thumb drive in one of the USB ports and there was a way to copy them there.

Do you know how to tell when a sales person is lying? See if their lip are moving...you gotta love them though...We have a sales person that sold a customer a new Mitel system a couple of weeks ago...not a big deal until you consider they are moving from a location where they have a MICS (which they are abandoning) to a location that has an CS1000 with plenty of capacity (and she talked them out of hooking to it). I am presently installing this Mitel on the same wall as the PBX...good salesmanship.

how can i copy voice mails to a folder that i can then burn to a cd

You can purchase keycodes for Unified Messaging on a per seat basis and create a Call Pilot folder through Outlook (Eudora, etc) and then you can save it as a wav file, which you can then save. You could use the try-n-buy keycode to try the Unified Messaging.
