Have not had to work on such old software & I know that it is not supported but I would like to keep customers data without having to reprogram. This unit should have had the Base Function Tray & Msc card replaced as part of the old recall. It somehow slipped thru the cracks & has now failed. I replaced the BFT & MSC card & the system seems to be working O.K. when I log in to the Unified Manager.
Problem is when you go into the drive with the serial connection it says Motherboard:TBD & For MSC it lists the core sofware as nothing. I re-imaged a hard drive & put it in a totally different system that I have as a spare & have the exact same problem. I noticed that when I do a platform initialization that it says something about BIOS can't be determined but yet it does the download anyway.
Any ideas or should I just cut my losses & re-image to a newer version & re-program.
