BCM 400 upgrade 3.7 to 4.0

I upgraded a BCM 400 3.7 to 4.0. In 4.0 you cannot leave the password at (PlsChgMe!)and I am having trouble setting the new password at the Welcome screen in Element Manager. I thought the policy was Alphanumeric with at least three different characters, I have tried all combinations. Any help would be appreciated.

Just change it to DontChgMe! and then after you log back in change it back to the default.

By default it needs to be at least 8 characters and use at least 3 of the 4 feature sets - Upper case, lower case, numeric, special characters. After you get it changed you can go to the system security settings and set lower password requirements if you want.

In 4.0, I've been able to re input the Nortel default password again without any problems.

I removed the Element Manager I had on my laptop from the BCM 50's I been installing and installed the Element Manger from the BCM 400 4.0. Worked.
