Is it possible to link a BCM 450 with a BCM 400. Both system would be mostly separate. The only thing the system must be able to do is talk with each other extension wise. So if someone on the BCM 400 dials an extension that is on the 450 it will actually connect. Everything else call center wise, PRI, auto attendant and so on will be separate.
On a side note. Is there anything bigger and better than a BCM 450 that maintains that kind of functionality? One of our problems is both the 400 and 450 can only handle 80 logged in agents for contact center. We need more maximum logged in agents. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Yes it is possibe to link those systems together by several means - PRI/DTI, VoIP, analog E&M, FXO/FXS, ets. Each work well to do what you want.

Of course there is something larger than a BCM450. I suggest an AVaya CS1000 or Avaya Communication Manager with an Aura Contact Center. Save your loose change before callig your Avaya vendor though.

Also, depending on your overall capacity the Avaya IPO might suit your needs too. That will do 150 agents/30 supervisors on single platform and will support BCM phonesets in the next release.
