What is the easiest way to set up automatic time of day routing to an external PSTN? At 1600 each day my customer wants calls to route to another office until 0800 the next morning....what is the easiest way to do this?
I think you have to use call pilot
In a nutshell:
from element manager set the line with incoming calls in "manual" mode. Then open call pilot and select this line
in "auto-attendant-->line administration". There you can associate a line with a auto-attendant table. In autoattendant table choose to call a Customer call routing.
Then use CCR to redirect call to the desired number.
At all 60 of my former locations, we had the line's app & Ring on Recpt phone all Lines set to Recpt to PRIME, Recpt phone set to REDIRECT (YES), program a button as CFW and the number.
This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.
This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.
Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
cook1082 has the "easiest" option for forwarding to another office.
But sometimes we have had customers that are "forgetful" or "not bright" and do not want to forward the phone at the end of every day.
Another option that is a little more difficult for you but automatic for the customer is to have a phone onsight (any phone ie. 7100 or phone through an ata) permanently forwarded (through a route) to the offsite office and at 4:00 have a 2nd AA/CCR sent to the permanently fwded phone.
