BCM 400 Station Ports Keep Blinking 1

This is a new Redundant BCM 400 with Redundant Expansion Cabinet configured at double density: 3 DSM32+, 2 T1/PRI cards, 1 GATM8.
There are two station ports on bus 3 that continuously blink when a phone is plugged into those DN's.
We have checked the Amphenol’s (exchanged and swapped them), disabled and enabled the ports and DSM32+ module, rebooted BCM, and as a last ditch effort replaced the DSM32+ with another new one to no avail.
Has anyone ever experienced this problem.
BCM is 3.7 with all the latest patches installed

How are you testing this? Make sure you test as close to the port as possible. I've seen this happen when two phones try to occupy the same port. Somehow it's possible that two station cables are spiced together.

We disconnected the Amphenol feeding cross-connect blocks and used a new 6' Amphenol with rj-11 breakouts directly from DSM32+, this is after swapping x01 - x16 Amphenol with x17 - x32 the phones connected to the allegedly bad Amphenol all worked in the other range and still same two ports NG with other Amphenol.
Since this was not resolved after replacing the DSM32+ I am starting to believe that the problem stems from somewhere else in the BCM.

Have you tried moving the BUS 3 card to a different slot either on the main cabinet or the expansion cab. if so then the only thing I can think to do is to replace the MSC card.

Thanks that’s a great idea and a great way to rule out a slot problem. We haven’t tried it yet.
