Good afternoon everyone, I have been looking for some guidance on how-to accomplish setting up DID (Direct Inward Dialing) on our BCM. I have the block of available DID’s and we have some that are already currently setup. I never setup any DID's myself so I was hoping someone can guide me through this process or point me to some documentation. I have a few DN's that I want to point to their respective DID numbers. All help will be greatly appreciated. If I am missing any info let me know and I will make available. Thank you all.

The documentation for the system is on the BCM.

Pick any unused Target lines/ incoming digits and assigned them to DN ( appear, app& ring, ring only ) . Very simple

It is under telecom/line

I agree. Just look at the target line of a set that has a DID already and copy that. You must assign a target line to a set, and then the DID to that target line. You can give multiple appearances if needed. And the cool part is you can creat any caller id number you want. I like that part.

Hi Nooop,

What if I have configured a T1 with E&M and want to receive another number to be terminated in an specific station??

I've searched through out the PDFs and haven't found anything yet that explains the proper procedure to make that array.

Thank you

Same procedure except you need to make the T-1 trunks auto answer.

DID work best with ISDN PRI, NI2, ESF, B8ZS in BCM setup.

E&M on T1 with DID could give you problem depending on LEC.
Load your BCM monitor and watch for what the LEC sending ya .
