BCM 400 R3.7 HDD not working.. could be replaced with R4.0 HDD

Dear all;

I have BCM 400 R 3.7 with defected HDD, I couldn't get the image of 3.7, but I have HDD working from BCM 400 R 4.0, if I replace the defected BCM 400 3.7 HDD with the one from BCM 400 R4.0 did it work ?

in another simple words, if I put HDD of BCM400 R 4.0 in BCM 400 R 3.7, would the BCM 400 R 3.7 work, and what could happen?

By the way, there are no license at the old one, so I don't need any license or keycode ...

and if some one can help me with the image it will be great

You would have to program the system from scratch. It's easy enough to swap out the disk. Try..
