BCM 400 PRI 1

hey all,

I've got a bcm400 3.7. All is working great. Were are upgading to PRI soon. Ive set up a number of pri's on mics but not on the bcm. I have the DTI card and installed it in the main cabinet. set mod 5 to Data mod. I dont see the setting that im looking for( framing, csu,line coding...)any help would be great!

If the DTI card is on bus 5, set bus 5 as PRI. After the module disables/enables, those parameters should appear.

DTI card is on bus 5. If I go into maintenence it says empty, and the state says unequipped. I know the obvious i may have a bad dti card but would like to make sure im not over looking something first.

if i go into set admin or elm manager i click on bus 5 and can change it to station mod, trunk mod or data mod. I put it on Data then it says state unequipped. If it saw the t1 card i guese i would get the options. i must be overlooking something.

If you don't set the DTI right in the resources it won't work. Did you set the dip switches to BUS 5? if so then under resources set BUS 5 to PRI as biv343 said. you may need to manualy disable the DTI and then reenable it, I have had to do this a few times before the BCM saw the DTI card. Normally I put the DTI in Bus 7, but you can do wait you want.

under resources it says data mode type SDI ?(read only feild) I dont see where I can change moduel to PRI.

PS make sure you set Clocking to Primary
