My company is transitioning its telephone service from a conventional PRI T1 circuit to a fiber based product from AT& T which uses a router to emulate the carrier-side interface.

What parts of the BCM 400 configuration might need to be customized for this?

Find out from AT&T as to what type of circuit they are providing.
Almost sounds like SIP.

If they are going to use the router to emulate PRI then you should not have to do anything. If like curly said they're going SIP then that's a whole new ballgame.

The service is to deliver 20 mb over fiber to a router on our premise that delivers "call paths" i.e. PRI bearer channels on its interface to our BCM for voice and remainder of bandwidth by Ethernet for internet. Besides resources > telephony resources > PRI, are there any other PRI related configuration parameters on BCM?

Some routers if the demark is extended by the carrier to a RJ45 a strait cable will work, plugged directly in to the router may require a T1 crossover cable you can find pin out on Google
