BCM 400 power light is RED

Have BCM 400 3.6 software and pwer light is red but everything is working just fine. Changed out base function tray and still is red. When you go into unified manager and look at system status lights are green. Any suggestions?

I've seen failing power supplies turn the power LED red. Typically the unit won't boot when that happens though.

I was thinking the same thing but it never lose's power or reboots

Could be the BFT,I just had one do the same thing to me right before the BFT went bad, I would check the MFG. Date and check nortel bulletin ID 2005006321.

Did you install 3.6 Clum patch 3, I had that on one of mine and after the patch, it worked OK.

I have one that is doing the same thing, rls 3.6, power light flashes red from time to time along with the temperature alarm. Although all appears fine. Let me know if you find a solution.
