Is there a way to change the distribution group pilot number from the default to a specific number? Like 2703 or 2801. The system assigned its own number 2544 or something but we would like to change it. Out vendor says that it can not be done. I was hoping that the system would be more flexible.

If by distribution group, you mean HUNT group, you can renumber those.

OK, Hunt Group would be the correct term. Can the number be called direct using intercom?
Can a call be transfered to the Hunt Group Pilot number.
Our vendor does not know how to change and said that it can not be changed.
Can you point me to the place to change the numbering? The BCM400 Brand New and yet to be implemented.
We have DID number 424-2703 that will ring target lines on the sets. We want the departments to be able to dial a HUNT Group 2703 internally without having to have a dedicated DN on one set and others with call cover keys. We are going to Filter (deny) 424-2703 from being dialed within the building. I wish there was a guide for folks like us to know what the system is capible of doing prior to installing and going live.

You can dial a hunt group dn internally no problem. If this is a 4.0 BCM, I don't remember from memory where you would change the DN.
