I have a BCM 400 that was configued for use at one company and has now been brought to a new start up company. I have never worked on a BCM so everything has been self taught to get it up and running. My question is we currently have no receptionist and the control phone is the only one that rings. My boss wants me to get it to work "like it was before" on the paging system as well as ring on the phones. I have checked out several posts and tried HG's and RG's but have had no success. And I am afraid if I keep "trying" to get it to work I am going to do more damage than good. Also calling a vendor is not an option because one the vendor is in another state, and two my boss does not want to spend money on a service call from a local dealer. Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this? Thank you in advace.

Well then, your boss is a cheapskate!

Most of us on here make our living by servicing these systems and people like your boss are not our friend with that kind of attitude.

If he wants it programmed, tell him to quit being so cheap and pay a trained professional to come in a do what we are trained to do. We need to make a living too!

Good Luck to you though.

Thanks for the response telcodog. The system was purchased recently and the business was closed. So we moved it so we would have jobs. Our current provider does not deal with Nortel systems. Do you have any suggestions for contacting a Nortel provider in the west valley Phoenix Arizona area?
