Keycodes are done in web interface.
If user can provide temp VPN access you should be able to do it.
or
Pay for an indivdual use of webex and have a user log into your webex session and install.
Webex becoming much more cost effective for time management and fuel savings.

Yes, you can use modem. But, not recommended, since very slow and the potential for the call to drop.
