I have a BCM 400 with about 90 terminals connected. The prime/attendant DN is a T7316E on extension 7920. There are two intercom keys on all the T7316E's. Occasionally the first i/c key (no.23) on ext 7920 will lock up as if it is in use, for no apparent reason, and the only way to get rid of this is to power down. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I know this was a problem with i2004's and there was a patch to correct it but never heard about it on digital sets. Definitely check patches though.

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

Also, try swapping out the phone. It could have a faulty (or sticky) button switch.

Has the user spilled coffee/cola on the phone at some point?

What do you mean by (no.23)?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Have tried different handsets already, but will check patches. I am pretty sure they are up to date on all my systems but you never know. What I mean by key no.23 is just the index number of the key for programming purposes.
Thanks all,
Alan
