I have an office BCM 400 Rls 3.6 and I am having trouble connecting my I2004 IP handset to a remote location for demo purposes. I was able to register the handset and could see my line pool working but couldn't get any dial tone or any voice. My BCM has a temporary IP address for this demo. I am new to connecting to remote sites that are not already networked. Would any system settigns help?

It's most likely a port issue.
Registration takes place on one port.
Talk/listen paths are on different ports.
What types of devices are between the BCM and the set?
