I am going to be replacing a defective hard drive on a BCM 400 Version 3.7.This site has a redundant hard drive setup.[blue]Is anyone aware of how to make a mirror image of the working hard drive to a replacement hard drive.[/blue]

First thing you have to do is determine which HDD is defective. This typically involves removing the IDE cable from the RAID controller, plugging it directly into one of the HDD's, connecting a monitor to the BCM, and viewing the boot process. Generally, a defective HDD will report an error during the boot sequence.
Then, replace that drive with a blank HDD from Nortel.

The blank drive will automatically synch to the good drive.
It usually takes about 10 minutes for the mirror process to get under way and up to 3 hours to complete.
