I'm having a hard time finding out if this is possible. I have a bcm 400 with 3 PRI cards and 3 DSM 32's. We also use 30 IP phones. I wanted to know if I can remove one DSM 32 and add a FEM mbm. From there I could use existing norstar DSM's and increase the amount of digital sets. The only thing I cant figure out is if the norstar DSM's will take up bus space on the BCM or will it only care about FEM as far a bus usage. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Each port that is turned on on the Fem uses a a DS30 bus. By using a Norstar stn mod u'll be decreasing your available capacity as stn mod only have 16 ports. Your current BCM is maxed out. U need to upgrade to a BCM450. It has the ability to handle 300 sets.
