I am having a an issue with a BCM 400, 4.0 software. I keep receiving a critical error in the alarm panel, the alarm ID is 247, the description is "Core Telephony - Digital Station Loop Error". The error was brought to my attention by some users indicating that their phones kept rebooting all of the sudden. When I looked at the error log, it was inundated with this error. All of the phones that were rebooting were all on the same DSM32+, so I recently replaced it assuming that the problem would stop. I just got another call today and the same thing is happening. Error log is full of the same error again. According to the error log, the system began having this error occur Sunday in the afternoon......no users are here on Sundays.

I saw in earlier posts that it was suggested that the switches be checked. I am assuming that they were referring to dip switches. When I put the new module in, I made sure that the switches were set the same way as the one that was being replaced. All were in same direction except for one on one of the ends was in opposite position as the rest. Thanks in advance.

YOu might want to verify the dip switches from a book. It sounds like if it was the dip switches, all you did was copy the wrong switches onto the new card, thus causing the same errors. i would verify what they should be by the book and then check them.
