BCM 400 Drive Issues

Hi All

Have a problem with a BCM 400 4.0. Replaced hard disk for various voicemail and RCC issues and unable to patch. When i installed new drive and booted system it came up and allowed me into element manager but voicemail service and iptel service along with some associated services will not start. restored programming and rebooted several times and I am stil getting the same thing. i even tried patching the new drive and it will not take. I installed the old drive and it comes right up and works no problem.

any ideas?

I would re-image the drive in another bcm and patch it to the latest then re-install it in the defective bcm.
Remember that if the core version of your MSC is newer then what's on your replacement drive you'll loose the telephony programming.

if i lose telephony programming i should be able to restore from a good backup correct?
