This is a strange one. I have a BCM 400 release 3.5 that has been working for years until today. All lights are blinking. I had powered off the system replaced FRU, Hard Drive and Modules and I still get what I take as a bios beeping then all lights blink with no hard drive activity. I get 3 beeps followed by 1 beep then 2 beeps. The only thing left was the power supply but all the voltages are right on the money.
Has anyone had this problem?

Yes, I replaced that just now and it still does the same thing. Fans are ok also.

did u replace the pwr supply seeing that's the only thing left to swap? How's your pwr source? Had an issue once where site did something to the power source which caused flashing lights on system and wrecked the pwr supply. After wrecking two pwr supplies, we used an extension cord and connected to a different power outlet which was on a different electrical circuit.

I have removed the unit and brought it to the shop and it does the same thing. I have not replaced the power supply because all the voltages were right. But I guess even though the voltages are right it is the only thing left.

Yes, the parts I used were from a known working BCM. The only thing is I took the power supply out to fix another BCM that failed last week.

Sounds like ur saying u transfered a working HD to the problem BCM thinking u don't need to initialize it because it worked in the other one. Is that what ur saying? I think u still need to initialize it because ur using a different MSC and the cores are probably different.

To initialize I need to be able to connect to the bcm correct? I cannot communicate at all through the com port

I have tried that, there is no communication at all
