BCM 400 conferencing

I have a BCM 400 4.0 with a PRI. I can assign a DID to a phone and put 8 line appearances/intercoms if necessary.

How many calls can I conference together?

You have the resources for 40 party conferencing, You do not need to load the phone up with intercom keys or line appearences.If you are using a 2 line display phone, you should get a NEWCALL prompt above a softkey when you use conference.

So I will have to initiate the calls to the outside participants?

If I did have multiple line keys and received a bunch of inbound calls, I could just keep pressing F3 and have them join the conference?

I'm going to try this out tomorrow at a customer site.

No you have to make the calls after the First 3 way conference.
