BCM 400 caller id

I Have a Nortel BCM400 v3.6 with remote ip phones.
Why do some of the remote phones show caller ID data before the call is answered and others only show the data after the call is answered.

class marks need to match.. i think the one you need to look at is tdd as opposed to add
