I have a BCM 400, 3.6, trying to network with a BCM 50 with IP trunks. I make a 4 digit call from the 400 to the 3xxx extensions in the 50, and the call just sits there and still shows "dialing" on the BCM monitor. Is there somewhere in the 50 that I have to tell it the IP address of the 400?

Definitely. It's under IP Trunks/Remote Gateways. You need to insert the digits, like when you built the route and you need to insert the IP address of the intended destination.

Adversity is Opportunity

Now I can call from the 400 to the 50 no problem. I can call from any phone on the 50 to any phone without a mailbox on the 400. If I call from the 50 to a set on the 400 with a mailbox, the set never rings and goes right to vm.

Actually, it appears that it is calls to phones with DIDs that do not work. The DID's do NOT match the extensions.

do you have the Target Lines set up and if so or you using Public and Private Rec Digits?

You can use the same Target Line, but the Public Recvd. Digits would match your DID and the Private Recvd. Digits would match the DN #.

I have used SCE on all 60 of my BCM's.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

That's CSE not SCE
