I have a customer that has a BCM 400 Rls.4. I have activated the keycode for unified messaging.
When i open up callpilot manager and go to system properties, the smtp server settings are not there.
Do i need to do an update to get unified messaging working?

If you are thinking about forwarding voicemail to email then the BCM400 could not do that. You need either BCM50 or upgrade your unit to BCM450 which supports that feature.

NTC06621KTE6 for BCM400 to BCM450 r6 upgrade kit
NTC06622KTE6 for BCM400 with RAID to BCM450 r6 upgrade kit

You would have to install the Outlook plugin with your current version which allows the users to have an additional service in their Outlook that can log into the local BCM to view the waiting messages directly on the system. Any user who does not use Outlook on Windows will not be able to use UM.
